Color Combinations And Glass Mosaic Tile
Feb 14, 2016

Some people love simple, clean looks. They’re the type of people who eat vanilla ice cream or chocolate but never pick pistachio. They keep their shoes in an orderly manner in the bottom of their closet, and they have one color of kitchen mosaic tiles as their backsplash.
But not all people are like that. Some people love pistachio ice cream and wear mismatched socks on purpose. These are the kinds of people that combine colors of glass mosaic tile to make a bold statement in their kitchens. There’s nothing wrong with this at all! In fact, some tiles are more beautiful when paired with a complementary color.
If you’re worried about pairing colors, you can use the tried and true method of using a color wheel and choosing complementary colors. If you’re looking at a color wheel like the one above, you merely have to choose a color you like, maybe a green, and then go directly across the circle to the color on the other side. That is your green complimentary color. If you don’t want to checkerboard your kitchen, why not try and buy the color you love in abundance and then choose the complementary color and use it as a small accent?
